Study of dietary risk factors for breast cancer in women in the region of Batna. ALGERIA Case-control study 2014-2015. Pan Arab Journal of Oncology . 2019;12 (2) :39-39.
Abstract
-
Breast cancer is a multifactorial disease; several socioeconomic, food factors and lifestyle are incriminated in its development. It is the first cancer of women in the world and in Algeria, in terms of incidence and mortality. In Batna, the standardized incidence has doubled, from 13.6 in 2001 to 25.3 in 2011. OBJECTIVE The main objective is to study the dietary risk factors associated with the occurrence of breast cancer in women in the region of Batna. METHODS A case-control study with 1-1 matching by age and address was conducted from January 1st, 2013 to December 31rd, 2014. The total sample consisted of 160 women. RESULTS Eating fast-food every day increases the risk of breast cancer by 7 times as well as fat from red meat. Consumption of sausage and poultry skin by 5 times. Cooking vegetables in sauce increases the risk by 5 times (p <0.0001), Taking olive oil each day reduces the risk of 25% with a p <0.02, the consumption of milk mixed or not with coffee reduces the risk of one third and the fact of nibbling rarely reduced it with OR = 0,117 (0,023- 0.59) p = 0.009. DISCUSSION The associations between dietary risk factors and breast cancer are discordant in the various studies carried out in the world, our results are in line with studies but require further research

Study of safety culture in healthcare institutions: case of an Algerian hospital. International Journal of Health Care Quality AssuranceInternational Journal of Health Care Quality Assurance. 2019;2019 :1081-1097.
AbstractPurpose For many years, the concept of safety culture has attracted researchers from all over the world, and more particularly in the area of healthcare services. The purpose of this paper is to measure safety culture dimensions in order to improve and promote healthcare in Algeria. Design/methodology/approach The used approach consists of getting a better understanding of healthcare safety culture (HSC) by measuring the perception of healthcare professionals in order to guide promotion actions. For this, the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture questionnaire was used in a pilot hospital setting where it was distributed on a number of 114 health professionals chosen by stratified random sampling. Findings The results showed that the identified priority areas for HSC improvement help in establishing a trust culture and a non-punitive environment based on the system and not on the individual. Originality/value Safety is recognized as a key aspect of service quality, thus measuring the HSC can help establish an improvement plan. In Algerian health facilities, this study is considered the first to examine perceptions in this particular area. The current results provide a baseline of strengths and opportunities for healthcare safety improvement, allowing the managers of this type of facilities to take steps that are more effective.

Study of Stacked High Tc Superconducting Circular Disk Microstrip Antenna in Multilayered Substrate Containing Isotropic and/or Uniaxial Anisotropic Materials, e-ISSN. Advanced ElectromagneticsAdvanced Electromagnetics. 2019;Volume 8.
AbstractIn this paper, we present a rigorous full-wave analysis able to estimate exactly the resonant characteristics of stacked high Tc superconducting circular disk microstrip antenna. The superconducting patches are assumed to be embedded in a multilayered substrate containing isotropic and/or uniaxial anisotropic materials (the analysis is valid for an arbitrary number of layers). London’s equations and the two-fluid model of Gorter and Casimir are used in the calculation of the complex surface impedance of the superconducting circular disks. Numerical results are presented for a single layer structure as well as for two stacked circular disks fabricated on a double-layered substrate.
