The objective of this paper is the characterization of the El Madher plain alluvial aquifer which is located at 15 kms to the North-East of Batna city and 450 Kms to the South-East of Algiers, in order to express its hydrodynamic balance by using a simulation model on steady state of underground flows. The characterization of the aquifer system concerning the geological, hydrogeological, structural and hydrodynamical aspects has permitted to define the whole limit conditions and the interior ones, which are recommended for carrying out the simulation
