AbstractLe monde change, la langue suit. A des référents nouveaux, des termes nouveaux. Mais, ce n’est pas le néologisme qui gêne. C’est plutôt la durée, la temporalité que prend le caractère néologique : la nouveauté d’un terme récemment créé. Le sentiment de nouveauté –ou néologicité – dure combien de temps ?La notion reste fluide. Toutefois, la fluctuation du concept ne légitime pas son rejet ni ne justifie la négation de la néologicité,trait distinctif fondamental de tout néologisme.Au contraire, elle mérite plus d’attention et exige dans l’immédiat, une prise en charge sérieuse et objective.
