The article introduces the benefits and application features of Silvaco Technology Computer Aided Design‘TCAD’ tool to predict the performance of electrical components and their reliability. In this work, in order to improve the electrical parameters of MOS transistor such as, threshold voltage and flat band voltage, we have simulated Phosphorus and Arsenic diffusion profiles in three dimensions before and after thermal annealing in a highly doped polysilicon film using the simulator Silvaco TCAD based on Pearson type IV models. The model takes into account the distribution of vacancy mechanisms and effects related to high concentrations, such as the formation of clusters to study solid solubility limit. The results have been analyzed and discussed in order to extract depth of doping (Phosphorus and Arsenic) and they have been able to optimize the silicon oxide thickness, to reduce the penetration of doping. Based on earlier studies a study of the effect of solubility on these profiles was performed

Benyahia A, Bilami A, SEDRATI M. CARTEE: congestion avoidance with reliable transport and energy efficiency for multimedia applications in wireless sensor networks. Wireless NetworksWireless Networks. 2018;26 :1–20.Abstract
Reliable data transport is an essential requirement for many multimedia applications in wireless sensor networks. Actually, an efficient transport protocol for these applications must take into account not only reliability and energy consumption factors but also memory occupancy and data delivery delay. Recently, many research works have been conducted in this area, however the proposed protocols treat some of these aspects and neglect others. Contrarily, in this paper we present a novel transport solution designed to provide 100% reliability without making light of other factors. Through different mechanisms, we attempt to reach this objective with congestion avoidance and good performances in terms of energy consumption, delivery delay, and memory storage. The proposed protocol, called congestion avoidance with reliable transmission and energy efficiency (CARTEE), attains these goals through several mechanisms, namely: fixed sliding window transmission, alternative implicit/explicit acknowledgement, a new congestion detection technique, and distributed transmission rate adjustment. To evaluate the proposed protocol, we have conducted simulations using ns-3. The obtained results confirm the efficiency and scalability of CARTEE and demonstrate that it outperforms the recent proposed transport protocols in terms of reliability, congestion avoidance, data cache occupancy, and latency.

The Equilibrium Voltage Step (EVS) technique has been used for extraction of depth and energy concentration profile of traps situated in the oxide of a lightly stressed metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) structure. This has been achieved up to the very near Si-SiO2 interface. The results are discussed and compared with those obtained using charge pumping (CP) technique. A good agreement is achieved between the trap densities extracted using the two methods even though differences in the shape of the profiles can be observed. The results also very well agree with those published previously using current deep level transient spectroscopy (C-DLTS).

International Information and Engineering Technology AssociationInternational Information and Engineering Technology Association. 2018;73 N 2 :29-36.Abstract
In this paper, a robust active fault tolerant control (AFTC) scheme is proposed for induction motor drives (IMD) via input-output linearization control (IOLC) and nonlinear observer. In order to estimate the states and to reconstruct the faults, two different observers are used; a Luenberger observer (LO) and an extended kalman filter (EKF). Further we introduce feedback linearization strategy by choosing the output function as the rotor speed and flux square. To provide a direct comparison between these FTCs schemes, the performance is evaluated using the control of IMD under failures, variable speed, and variable parameters, finally the obtained results show that the proposed controller with the proposed observers provides a good trajectory tracking, and these schemes are robust with respect to faults, parameter variations, and external load disturbances for induction motor drive system.

Engineering Science and Technology, an International JournalEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal. 2018;Volume 21 :pp 527-531.Abstract
This work is mainly on the detection of the bulk acoustic waves (BAWs), where we have compared two Lithium Niobate cuts (Y-Z and Y-X), during the propagation of the acoustic microwaves in the piezoelectric LiNbO3-substrate. In this paper, we have used the classification by Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN) as a tool for numerical analysis in which we classify all the values of the real and imaginary parts of the attenuation coefficient for the propagation velocity. This analysis can allow us to demonstrate the best possibility in utilization for the BAW generation. This study will be very interesting in modeling and realization of acoustic wave devices (ultrasound) based on the propagation of acoustic microwaves.

HEDJAZI D. Constructing collective competence: a new CSCW-based approach. International Journal of Information and Communication TechnologyInternational Journal of Information and Communication Technology. 2018;12 :4.Abstract
Within the majority of contexts, it is persons that are considered to be competent or incompetent. However, in many cases it is the performance of groups and teams that is most important. This implies a concept of collective competence that integrates the set of skills in a group. In addition, the collective competence construction process is also enriched through collaboration which implies exchanges, confrontations, negotiations and interpersonal interactions. This paper presents our CSCW-based approach supporting collective competence construction. As a case of study, the industrial maintenance workspace is fundamentally a collaborative context. Our contribution in this area led us first, to analyse the related task in order to highlight collaborative maintenance vital needs and design the appropriate required group awareness supports which will be used to support collective competence. Finally, the experimentation study identifies the highly effective group awareness tools.
